Hi, I’m Natalie (she/her), an associate marriage & family therapist, intersectional feminist, and researcher helping people break intergenerational cycles and reconnect to their true selves.

I came to this work after nearly a decade working in advertising. I was an expert at understanding people in service of selling them things. After some soul searching, I realized I wanted to use those skills to help people instead, prompting my decision to earn my master's in counseling & depth psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute.

It’s a privilege to be entrusted with sacred stories, some of which no one else in the world knows. My favorite part of being a therapist is the people, I’m endlessly fascinated by the complexity of the psyche and soul.

Who I See

I specialize in helping couples navigate major life transitions, trauma, and communication breakdowns. I teach you how to identify the conflict cycle you’re stuck repeating, practice new communication techniques, and strengthen your capacity for connection and collaboration.

For individual therapy, I primarily work with women who are exploring who they are and what they want out of life––possibly for the first time in their lives. I help those navigating complex trauma or PTSD, breakups or divorce, dreams or nightmares, and much more.

I provide supportive and affirming care to queer, trans, and gender-expansive clients.

How I Work

My approach to therapy is a blend of psychoanalytic, depth and somatic approaches with feminist, intersectional, and systemic frameworks. I am currently training to become certified in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT).

A lot of my work is focused on helping you access unconscious material. In practice, this means I pay attention to what’s unsaid in the room things like your body language, your tone, the images that show up in your dreams, the relationship dynamics that keep repeating. All in service of helping you have more agency over how you live.

We might work well together if–

You're looking for someone warm and direct, who blends the spiritual with the psychological. You want someone who will tend to the language of your body as much as the intellect of your mind.

I enjoy building deep, long-term therapeutic relationships with clients, ones that feel comfortable and trusting. My space is very relaxed. I encourage my clients to show up in whatever ways make them feel the most at ease.

My POV on Healing

I prefer to think of healing as soul tending, as this work is a lifelong process of providing care and attention. This work is never “done,” but evolving with us as we grow.

I believe, as Jung said, our unconscious lives are constantly influencing the choices we make, the relationships we find ourselves in, and the patterns we repeat. Once we are able to make unconscious material conscious, we create more freedom in how we live.

I'm fascinated by dreams, symbols, the body, synchronicities, and all the unexpected ways the universe intersects with our inner worlds.

About Me, Outside of Therapy

My experience living with chronic illness/pain is part of why I specialize in supporting people navigating illness. My lived experience gives me a deep understanding of how suffering reshapes identity, relationships, spirituality, and self-trust. These concepts were the foundation for my master's thesis, Pain Alchemy: The Creative Act of Transforming Pain into Power, which explored women’s chronic pain from a depth-psychological and feminist lens. This work continues to shape how I think about the intersection of resilience, identity, trauma and systemic/cultural forces.

I’m also an artist––I write, oil paint, and have an active meditation practice.
