• I offer a free 15-minute consultation to prospective clients to see if we’re a good match.

  • How much your overall therapeutic journey will cost depends on several factors such as length of each session, frequency of sessions, how many people are in each session (are you seeking therapy for just one, two, three, or more?), and how long you continue treatment.

    I charge $160 for individual sessions and $200 for couples sessions. I encourage you to discuss this during our initial free 15-minute consultation call. Before you begin your first session, you will receive a Good Faith Estimate of projected costs to review so there will never be any hidden or unexpected costs. You can use this Good Faith Estimate Calculator to get an idea of how much therapy will cost over various numbers of weeks.

    Therapy is an “at-will” relationship, which means you are free to end therapy at any time for any reason. If finances are your only reason for leaving, though, please discuss this with me prior to ending the relationship, as I provide limited sliding scale spots, should cost suddenly become a barrier for you getting the care you need.

  • I do not accept insurance. Upon request, I can provide you with a superbill to send in to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement if you have a PPO plan.

  • I offer psychotherapy for teens, adults, couples, and families residing in California. 

  • I currently offer exclusively online psychotherapy for California residents. 

  • The first session is less about a formal interview and more about the beginning of a conversation. We’ll use this time to discuss what has brought you here and what you are longing for.

    You don’t need to have a polished narrative or a list of goals prepared. We will begin to trace the landscape of your life, sensing into the "fit" between us. You can expect a warm, non-judgmental atmosphere where your curiosity is as welcome as your discomfort. By the end of our hour, we will have a beginning sense of how we might work together toward your goals.

  • The relationship between us is the most vital element of the work, and its chemistry is something we both honor.

    If, after our initial meeting, you feel that my approach or presence isn't the right mirror for your journey, I encourage you to share that. I am more than happy to provide referrals to other trusted colleagues whose style might better resonate with what you need. My priority is ensuring you find a space where you feel truly seen and supported.

  • Depth psychology based work is an exploration of the architecture of your life, which means there is no quick fix or predetermined timeline. 

    Some find that a few months of focused therapy provides the clarity needed to move through a specific challenge. Others find that the therapeutic space becomes a vital, ongoing practice, a dedicated 50-minutes each week to stay connected to their internal world.

    In our work together, we are not just looking for a quick resolution to a symptom. We are looking for a fundamental shift in how you experience your life. We will check in regularly to see where you are on your journey and how we are progressing toward your goals. 

    Clients tend to feel it’s time to conclude when their patterns that once felt engrained and stuck have transformed into a sustained feeling of vitality with an ability to navigate past triggers with ease.

  • Most people find therapy both a pleasant and unpleasant experience. Therapists often say, “It’ll get worse before it gets better.”

    While having a caring, empathetic space with someone deeply committed to understanding you can feel great, talking about inner, emotional wounds can feel awful. And, it is part of the catharsis of healing. Over time, the pain will lessen as you learn new coping strategies and new ways of being in relationship.

    Schedule your session mindfully. If possible, try to give yourself some time before and after each session to transition back into your normal life.
